Welcome to the largest overdose prevention network in California and the nation.
The California Overdose Prevention Network (COPN) is a network for coalitions, organizations, and individuals working at the forefront of the overdose epidemic.
Our multi-sector coalitions reach 85% of Californians with life-saving interventions, education, and resources to address drug addiction and overdose.
Our coalitions are made up of individuals and organizations focused on addressing overdose prevention across California. By working together to leverage resources and efforts within local communities, a coalition can make an incresed impact.
Why coalitons work:
Increase ability to develop a local response and address specific needs within a community
Strengthen systems and build partnerships within a community
Increase credibility and trust with community members
Amplify your organization’s voice and ability to influence policy
Sustain impact and action through cooperation and sharing of resources
Three ways we advance the impact of local coalitions

“Before COPN we operated in a more isolated way…COPN has broadened our prospective and given us a sense of unity with other coalitions tackling our nation's overdose epidemic”
“The sharing of resources and tools along with mentoring from others has been invaluable. Generating ideas together and sharing outcomes has advanced implementation into communities more rapidly.”
