COPN Accelerator Program
In 2018, COPN launched an Accelerator Program to support local coalitions to strive for greater impact within their communities. Our work is focused on preventing new addictions, increasing access to treatment, and stopping overdose deaths.
More than 30 coalitions share ideas, learn better methods, and discover the latest strategies to prevent new addictions, increase access to treatment, and stop overdose deaths.

Strengthen your approach to sustainability practices in overdose prevention
Our approach
Using a guided process, your team will apply principles of strategic partnerships and program assessment to build sustainable practices in your substance use prevention, treatment, and harm reduction strategies. Guided tools and facilitated workshops led by subject matter experts will provide the opportunity to customize your program experience to meet specific needs within your community and learn from other communities across California.
This program will offer three distinct learning groups to maximize peer support and communication:
General learning group for well-established coalitions in mixed urban and suburban areas.
"Rural hub" learning group for peer learning and exchange among rural communities.
"Reboot" learning group for local leaders looking to revitalize their local coalition.

Gain insights through a facilitated learning groups, with peer teams across California. Principles of health equity, racial justice, and amplifying the voice of those with lived experience are embedded throughout the program.
