Colliding Crises: Saving Lives by Addressing Historical Trauma

tree.jpg

Substance use and historical trauma are intrinsically linked. Join us for a panel discussion on addressing Historical Trauma as a critical factor in supporting those with substance use disorders (SUD). Black, brown, and indigenous communities in particular have experienced trauma that directly links to their current and historical experiences around SUD. Current treatment systems frequently fall short by not addressing these historical injustices and trauma. Join us to learn how to partner effectively, and what strategies look like in action.
