Join us for an overview of vicarious or secondary trauma – what is it, how does it impact our overall health and what can we do to support ourselves as we manage it? As we all continue to grapple with the secondary impacts of COVID-19, wildfires, and rising overdose rates, now more than ever we need to practice radical self-care. In this workshop, we’ll explore what the brain needs to rest and heal, and we’ll offer some practical things we can do to manage toxic stress.
