Santa Clara County Opioid Overdose Prevention Project Reaches Youth through Social Media

The team in Santa Clara County has been ramping up their virtual outreach activities since May. This has included increased social media outreach, virtual naloxone training, and updating their network through newsletters. One of the major projects they have planned includes a fentanyl-awareness social media campaign targeted towards young adults and teens.

The coalition plans to release their “Fentanyl Takes Friends” campaign on Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok at the end of the month. For more information check out the Santa Clara County Opioid Overdose Prevention Project (SCCOOPP) website.
