COPN Fall 2026 Convening: Tackling the Upstream Drivers of Overdose

In California, nearly 3 in 10 drug overdose deaths could be prevented by improving the conditions where people live. Across the state, local coalitions are using upstream overdose prevention strategies to save lives. Join us Wednesday, September 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT for our Fall COPN Convening to learn how coalitions are addressing the upstream drivers of overdose. A panel of local coalition leaders will share their experiences implementing a range of strategies related to food security, housing and transportation. Afterwards, participants will join breakout rooms to explore these approaches in more depth and learn practical steps for getting started in their own communities. Spread the word and register today so you don’t miss this opportunity.
